Featured Beer: Venus Envy Belgian Tripel
Local all-female brewers Kelly McKnight from Watch City, Annette Lee from Throwback Brewery and Maria Poulinas from John Harvard's bring you Venus Envy Belgian Tripel brewed with local roasted apples and cinnamon.
Maria, Kelly, Annette and Andrea (owner and maltster from Valley Malt) have all worked together to create you the perfect brew to help transition into Winter. Our new small batch Belgian Tripel has been brewed with special malts from Valley Malt. Andrea from Valley Malt steeped her grain in local cider then kilned it with cinnamon sticks transforming this base malt into a nice apple cinnamon base malt. We decided to extract the cinnamon and add in into the last few minus of the boil and whirl. After fermentation we racked the brew onto roasted apples and cinnamon stick. Yummy! This beer rocks and we hope you feel the same way!
